It's a Statutory Holiday here in Alberta ~ Family Day. And what did our family do to celebrate? We got up early, when it was still a wee bit dark, showered, grabbed our documents and headed out the door to drive into the city. Downtown was deserted and we found the perfect, free parking spot. Off to the Government of Canada office we went. And less than an hour later, confirmation that our new, good for 10 years Canadian Passports will be delivered to our house on March 3rd. We don't leave for our trip to Disneyland until April 12th so it felt good to check off a critical item from our task list.
